Happy Troll Computing Announces SCRUM Line of Products

Many businesses now have so many things on their plates and wear many hats. One minute you are keeping the books, the next they are trying to contact their customers to let them know the job is done. During all their other day to day activities, they need to update the company website, and add new features , let customers know what stage their projects are at, and administer the whole process while still getting money making activities done. Happy Troll Computing has the solution for you - SCRUM. The idea that small iterations of software design are tested all along the way, a huddle - SCRUM, like in rugby - takes place on a regular basis where stakeholders can buy into the process and no one is left in the dark about where things are.

The first version of the line of products, SCRUM-Packager, will roll out for customers who do repackaging on locked down networks. Packaging is a difficult job, on top of juggling many aspects in the process of debugging a piece of software, you also have to keep track of whether a package has been tested, distributed, or the last faults have been fixed. During the the testing phase, did the tester forget to test the package? Have all the fults been fixed? and what was done on the last version of the package. It is our hope, at HTC, to design a user-friendly SCRUM-Packager and pprovide solutions for all these problems, plus many more, as users' interact with our product.

Future of SCRUM

Business wear many hats, for obvious reasons. When packaging softwre, there is an immediate need for managing the process. Programmers have many programming projects working, the obvious next step is to apply the same goals and ideas to programming teams. Almost any project management can have the same kind of buy-in as the packaging version. So keep checking back. HTC would love to hear your suggestions and feedback.
